To achieve excellence in the provision of paediatrics and child health services and care in Zambia
The Zambia Paediatric Association (ZPA) is committed to achieving excellence in the provision of quality health care to all children in Zambia. This will be achieved by fostering quality medical education to health care professionals dealing with children and promoting research in all aspects of paediatrics and child care.
ZPA has the explicit responsibility of not only ensuring and maintaining professional standards among its members but also of functioning as a torchbearer for all issues relating to the well-being of all children in Zambia. To this effect, ZPA’s guiding principles are as follows:
- Advancement of the field of paediatrics and child health.
- Providing advocacy for child health issues.
- Provision of leadership to decision makers in all spheres of society regarding paediatrics and child health.
